Christine Benson
Psychotherapist, LMSW
Christine has over 18 years of experience as a psychotherapist with successful outcomes treating adults and children. She uses a variety of treatment methods to address issues related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. She provides support with difficulties at work, school, and in relationships.
In addition to traditional therapies, she also utilizes the expressive arts, including somatic movement therapy, which uses visual art, movement, and a deeper insight into the mind-body-spirit experience.
Over the past 18 years, Christine has gained valuable experience working in clinics and in private practice. She has developed the skills to provide her clients with the necessary tools to understand and work with their spirituality, aging, family conflict, and finding their meaning in life.
Prior to obtaining her MSW from Fordham University, she worked with adults, children and families, and has gained a wealth of practical therapeutic experience.
