Giitou Neor

Giitou earned her Masters in Social Worker at Columbia University and is experienced in individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Giitou has a therapeutic focus in utilizing the CBT and DBT modalities to assist one in managing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. Giitou worked for many years in the child welfare field, assisting families to improve family connections impacted by neglect, abuse, and substance abuse.

Giitou has a commitment to working with marginalized communities around managing mental health needs, connecting to necessary resources and providing support.

In her clinical approach, Giitou creates a safe supportive space and partnership where client and clinician travel together on a road of self-discovery healing, encompassed within a strong therapeutic alliance.
